The Wall St. Journal reported this week that Netflix has added an option to its Instant Video service for people who want to watch more content without having to pay for it.
Netflix has been rolling out the new option to the company’s streaming service subscribers in the U.S. and Canada since May, according to The Wall Streets Journal.
When users try to watch Netflix Instant Video content on their devices, the service will ask them if they want to pay a fee for the content.
The new fee option will be free to users who subscribe to Netflix in the US and Canada.
The subscription fee will start at $7.99 per month.
Netflix Instant Video will be available on the service in Canada starting June 1, the WSJ said.
